Abledown Gap Insurance is a ****

Worst Gap Insurance, total waste of my money. I have been with Ambledown since 2014. I have only ever needed their services 2 time in the entire 12 years that I have my Gap Insurance with them. Once in August 2025, and again in March 2026. My wife went to hospital, and the excess bills I submitted to Ambledown Gap Insurance. I submitted every form they requested but after every 10 or more days its a new form they need and this goes on for around 2 months of requesting different forms, which all was sent. Eventually the claim process takes so long that they just say that they have reviewed the documents and are unable to pay out due to insufficient documentation. Ambledown is a total ****. When I first took the insurance they were deducting 2 times from my account on different days for 6 months. I got them to stop but they never refunded the money. They are also very difficult to get in touch with and when you do get through they drop your call. I would strongly suggest you avoid this organsisation at all cost. This is a really expensive ****!!! I was paying R600p/m for nothing.
