Denial of lost clothing items at Amazon Laundry, Southernhood, East London.

Hi I am Mncedisi Mbetheni from East London in the Eastern Cape. I am writing to Hello Peter today to share my dreadful experience with Amazon Laundry which is a business that does laundry. They wash all types of clothes and they also provide purified water. I believe it was 2 week ago when I as their loyal customer sent in my clothes as per usual. When I received my clean set of clothing from Amazon Laundry, I realised that my red short gym shorts were missing and I remembered putting the pair of shorts in with the other clothes for laundry. I reported this matter to them upon discovery. They first claimed that the person who was working that day I sent my clothes in with was not working that day and that I should come back another day. I went back a few days ago and now they are denying ever seeing my shorts and refuse any form of compensation for my lost item.
