Letting ********* run free

My Amazon account was hacked during the early hours of Thursday morning. I do not know how someone managed to access my account, but they managed to change my password AND email address. All i got was a confirmation email that both my password and email have changed. This meant that i cannot access any of the ebooks i have bought through Amazon and, more importantly, someone have access to my credit card details.

I struggled for more than an hour to find a way to contact Amazon without having to log into my profile (since mine was hacked and since we dont have a call centre in South Africa).

I eventually found an email address, where i explained everything (and indicated that this was an emergency) and got the reply that they would answer within 12-24 hours. In has almost been 48 hours and no one has made the effort to help me.

Yesterday I created a new profile JUST to be able to contact them AGAIN. and still no reply.

I have spend quite alot on their ebooks, which I cant access now and Amazon does NOTHING TO HELP THE VICTIM OF SOMEONE WHO WAS HACKED ON THEIR SITE. this says a lot about their security and customer service. All they want is our money, regardless of how they treat people.

I want my account sorted out. This is completely ridiculous!

They let the ******** run free and keep me begging them to help me. Unbelievable.
