Disappointed South African Pensioner

I bought an amazon unlimited subscription for my mother in law, for her 69th birthday, who is a pensioner and can't afford to keep buying kindle books on her pension. She tried to claim her gift subscription but keeps being told that she's not allowed to because she lives in South Africa. IT'S A GIFT!

This is absolutely shocking and terrible service from amazon.com. This is a digital product and should not be territory based. I am shocked that you won't allow a 69 year old woman to accept a gift for a digital product, bearing in mind that her kindle and the books that she reads are the only thing she has most days, it fills up her days and brings her happiness, and yet amazon won't allow her to enjoy these books fully with an unlimited subscription and would rather take from her small pension.

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this shocking service from amazon, and I honestly don't see why you can't allow one of your most faithful readers this small joy. Shame on you!
