underhanded policies and terms and conditions used

I was contacted last month for the 3rd time by a company called amazing vouchers. The consultant explained to me how their services works and it sounded good so I decide to sign up. The package i took was for R150 to receive R150 airtime each month for free with a selection of vouchers to choose from. the first debit went off on 24 May and in mid June I thought id put in sim sim card they sent me so i could use the free airtime, only to find out that its isn't available and will only be available after 30 days of debit date. Now I understand that they probably had to mention this when I signed up but I don't remember it else I would not have signed up in the fist place. Coz who waits 30 days after debit date for the services you sign up for. anyway I contacted the company to request a cancellation coz this isn't what I wanted or thought it would be. i was told even if I cancel they would still debit R100 each month for 6 months, and the cooling off period was 5 days after sign up. The terms and conditions this company has in place is messed up, how can you not cancel a simple service which wasn't used and wont be used? this is a simple example of how companies trick you into paying something you don't want. First they bombard you with calls to sign up, then when you give in they trick you into a contract you agreed to over the phone and cannot get out of at the end. This company is using and tricking customers and its not fair. It is your consumer right to cancel any service you not interested in and I don't this its fair or right that they don't want to cancel it after they know you have not used their packages or even looked at the website or logged in at all. I am very much disappointed and irate at the blatant poor policies and underhanded term and conditions this company hides behind and uses. I want my money back and i want this service cancelled.
