Fitted alarm and gate motor – poor workmanship

<p>I hired Richard to install a gate motor and fit an alarm system and beams. All the work was done, but from the start there were problems. When you arm the house, it does not arm, leaving my family and I vulnerable to intruders and crime. The gate stopped working after a week, making me more of a hijacking risk.</p> <p>Trying to get hold of Richard is a nightmare. He will rarely take your call. In the event that he does take your call, he will promise to come through and rectify the problem, but he never pitches up and it becomes difficult to get hold of him again.</p> <p>Richard gives you a 3 year guarantee on his work, but it is not worth the paper it is printed on. </p> <p>In the end I had to hire another company to rectify his botched job .</p> <p>Stay away from Richard – his work is of poor quality and it is clear he does not know what he is doing. Getting hold of him is nightmare – such poor customer service.</p>
