Appalled and Very Disappointed - Amadwala Lodge

<p>I had booked for my partner and myself on March the 24th to stay over one evening as his Birthday Gift. we were very excited as this was our first mini get away togeather me especially as I have not had a holiday since 2007. all was fine we had a good dinner and returned to our Safari Tent at App 9:30pm where we wanted to shower before climbing into bed as we needed to leave early as my son was playing rugby in Hartebee****rtdam 08:30am. Needles to say the water came on for all of 5 mins went off again. On me trying to call recpetion again no answer on 2 occasions we chose to leave at 12:30pm to drive home to benoni to Shower. We paid in full but never got the service offered and when conplaining saying I would like a refund as we where in the room for all of 3 hrs I was told sorry you will not get anything and the Manager will tell you the same by a very Unhelpful Gentlemen Named Basil. To date the Manager has still not bothered to call me back. It was very humiliating for me as tjhis was my Birthday Gift to my Boyfriend, as we had to tell all who asked how our evening was that we had to leave due to no water in a Tank. How does one run a facility this way, you offer a service but dont forfil basic requirments such as shower water and still refuse to refund? I am truly appalled and disgusted.</p>
