I bought 1500 SABS approved blocks from this supplier, but they delivered the cheap blocks not SABS approved.

I bought 1500 SABS approved blocks from this supplier, due to large number of Qty they promised to make two to three trips. The first Load they delivered had little bit of the SABS approved ones with the majority being that of A.M Builders hardware. Approximately 1200 Blocks delivered including the 2nd load was the "A.M Blocks", which is sold at lower rate than the SABS which i had paid for.

The next day of the delivery i went to the shop and reported to them, as i was at home when the goods were being delivered. I spoke to the management at the shop and told them that they need to come and pick up the blocks up as they were not the product that i had paid for, which wasn't done on time as a result of that about 15 blocks had gone missing upon collection. Keep in Mind that 4 months had gone pass when they came to pick up the blocks,

The delivery date was on the 08 OCT 2016 ********** with the first pick made on the 17 Jan 2017, along the way there were some blocks that had gone missing which they said they will not credit me for, even though i feel that had they came and picked up the blocks in the same week after i had reported to them that they supp**** the wrong product it wouldn't have happened. Later I established that it is a norm to them to sell to your a good product but the deliver something bot of good quality especially with the blocks. Apparently i was not the first one who have had to deal with the same situation. Recently i went to them and spoke to them because they said they don't do refunds i will have to come in either for an exchange of the same product or you will have to take something else. One of my receipt got lost for the 800 Blocks and they refused to go to the duplicate invoice book which was used to record all the blocks returned to them. Meaning R6.50 x 800 = R 5.200.00 would be forfeited by the shop. I feel its important to alert the customers about such instances with the festive season coming people will be eager to renovate or extend their houses, they mist make sure that they get the right service for their monies.
