alvi armani

I am writing this review to potentially warn others about the awful experience I had with Alvi Armani. They are a hair transplant company based in the medical mews inside Sandton City. I had a hair transplant done through them and would like to share what happened to me. My experience regarding the pre-consultation was fine, the salespeople I dealt with were friendly and accommodating. I paid the company in advance as was their policy. This was a big mistake.

However, on the day of my actual procedure, I met Dr Kashmal Kalan for the first time. He asked me if I was nervous about getting the procedure to which I said yes and then he said to me “oh well if you change your mind now, there is no refund” That was my first interaction with the man. What followed was what felt like an extremely rushed experience where he drew a hairline on my head that I questioned but was told to just accept it and trust his judgment. I was rushed into the operation room where my head was shaved, and I received anesthesia a few minutes later. What followed was me waking up 3-4 hours later where I had two assistants working on my head which lasted another 2-3 hours. When they eventually finished, I saw myself in the mirror for the first time after the procedure and my hairline still looked slightly off (exactly what I said to him before we went into the operating room). I had him called back into the room. When he entered, he looked extremely irritated. I mentioned the hairline to him and to my surprise he snapped at me asking me if I want him to take the hair transplants out. It was at this stage that my experience deteriorated, I can only describe it as experiencing a real-life nightmare. I just came out of a 6-7-hour operation feeling dazed and here I am getting shouted at by someone I just paid a lot of money to and received an inferior procedure. I felt belittled and very disrespected as this all happened in front of his staff. I wish someone warned me about this company and in particular Dr Kashmal Kalan the same way I am warning others here. I deeply regret using this company. It was truly an awful experience. If you are serious about getting a hair transplant, look at getting a few options, I would say at least three, and read the reviews or try and talk to someone who has gone for the procedure. Jared.
