Alu-Tech Glass and Aluminium

I dealt with Vishal Maharaj from Alu-Tech. He quoted me R700 to repair my glass sliding door. This R700 included labour & the cost of parts to the value of R600. He insisted that I pay him R600 so that he could buy the parts, which I did vis instant EFT payment as he insisted that he could not wait the day or two for the money to reflect in his account. The next day he called and asked for R180 extra as the parts now cost more than he expected. yet again he insisted on instant EFT which I had to do as he said he was at the supplier. He goes to my my home and fits just the wheels and nothing else. He does not leave any of the parts that I had already paid him for. He tells my parnets that he needs yet more parts! When I speak to him he tells me that I need a whole new door frame as my door is old and the new parts that they make now will not fit. He asks for a further R400. I insist on speaking to the 'supplier' and he also says its R400. Yet again another instant EFT payment (which costs me bank charges). He comes to my house after me having to constantly chase him, without any of the parts!!! He left it at his home!!!! He brings another man along with him and they both tell me that they need another R350 as the supplier has told them that in addition to the farme, I need to have some sort of suction section installed as well. yet again another instant payment R350 because Vishal cannot wait!!!! Weeks of chasing him, threatening him with legal action and he finally comes back to my house with door handles and no frame! He tries to force the door handles onto my door which does not work and tells me that he will come back with the frame. I told him to cancel the job and return the money I paid him. He has not given me or shown me proof that he has actually bought any of the parts that I paid him for. He leaves and to this day I have not received any of the parts or any of my money back. He is a charlatan and someone never to be trusted. Do not hire him or his Company. It is a complete *******. He is not SAAGA accredited despite him saying that he is
