Uncancelled subscription

I took out a policy in March and canceled it the very same month I was explained about a 30 day cancelation period, and waited for that to pass, I was still getting charged in May after I called in June to query it only then was the subscription canceled after I already canceled it in March, this is unacceptable when you ask to speak to a supervisor you get put on hold for over 7 minutes
