No Communication, Delayed Product, Incorrect Delivery. Utter Disappointment!

In today's economy I take pride in trying to support local business and not always buying from these import companies. This was the case with Alte Mooi. I found their products on facebook and could not find a bad review, not knowing they just had a really tight security profile. I placed an order for a grey 2m table and 2 benches. The table advertised was a light wood but they advertise that they can do any colour as long as you send a picture. I sent it via whatsapp and was told "no problem". Everything was efficient. Initial interaction was on the 23rd of February, it was great and by 25th of February invoice was paid and order confirmed. Estimated Delivery 5 April. A Bit longer than expected but being hand made I understood. On the 31st of March, I contacted them for courier details which they sent on the 6th of April along with a message saying " we are busy completing all orders due to wood supply being late." I requested a new date with no response. On the 12th of April I received a generic long whatsapp apologising for the delay. The apology indicated completion within 7 days. On the 24th of April I sent a message asking for updates. No Response. On the 28th April I received a voicenote saying my items would be completed by the weekend. On the 2nd of May I requested updates. Nothing. On the 4th of May 07h43 I requested updates. They said they were having a workshop meeting that morning and would come back to me. By 17h00, Nothing. That night I received an email apologising saying they are really sorry and will let me know when my table will be completed. I heard nothing until I emailed again on the 10th of May, no response. I emailed on the 17th of May and was told the wood was only delivered the day before and they will START NOW! On May the 26th I was told my items are complete I can send the courier. No pictures were sent as per their terms and conditions and the items was released to the courier. They were delivered and NOT GREY! The pine is just raw plain pine! I messaged IMMEDIATELY since they dont take phone calls by the way. She read my messages immediately. No Response! On the 29th of May I messaged again, no response. I then took to facebook asking for a response. On the 2nd of June I received an email asking me to allow them until Friday to respond with a plan. Friday - Nothing! On the 4th of June I received an email saying the paint has been ordered. When I asked for proof - No response. I am sick and tired of these people! I dont know what is going on at this business but from what I can see on their Facebook wall they have a lot of people angry with them. I sold my perfectly fine dining room suite for something different, fresh and handmade and now have a raw item in my home. They have no business etiquette. If they would just communicate they would be far better off. WORST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE!
