DON'T BUY FROM ALTE MOOI

<p>I finally saw a sideboard at a very good price on Facebook, Alte Mooi. I immediately decided to get this so I emailed Luanne, she sent me a quote, I accepted and made payment on 4 March 2017. The next day I mailed her apologising, that I need to change the colour of my sideboard, she said it's not a porblem and we can expect completion on 5 April 2017.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 9 April 2017, I had no feedback so i mailed Luanne to find out how far they are with my sideboard, but no feedback. On 19 April I mailed Luanne checking in to see if my sideboard is complete, but no feedback. On 28 April 2017 I emailed Luanne again as I haven't heard from her and telling her we are leaving to go on Holiday in a couple of days. I needed to know urgently as I don't want to pay the R150 storage fee if I don't collect my sideboard on the day of completion. With no feedback Isent her a message on 30 April 2017( on Facebook) on 1 May 2017, if finally got response from her saying that she's almost done, they will keep it for me untill i return back from holiday.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 25 May 2017 I inform Luanne that I'm back from holiday and if she can let me know when i can collect my sideboard, but no feedback. On 5 June I send Luanne a mesage on Facebook again to find out when I can come and collect my sideboard as it's been 3month on this day and I still have nothing. On 9 June 2017 I sent Luanne a email asking her where my sideboard is, again no answer. Finally callling Luanne I get told that the sideboard will be ready on 13 June 2017. On 13 June 2017 my husband went to have a look just to find out that the colours were not correct. Luanne had never told her husband that the colour changed and advised that they would have to re-make the whole sideboard. Later on i get a email from Luanne asking me to give them 3 days to fix the sideboard. Stupidly, I trusted Luanne and agree that i will wait and she advises they will arrange for the sideboard to be delivered to us free of charge. </p> <p> </p> <p>3 days later, call Luanne, no answer... I then call her on 22 June 2017 with no answer, just a sms, I'll call you back, but no call back. On 23 June 2017 I message her on her mobile telling her that i haven't heard from her. On 26 June 2017 I message her again telling her we will be collecting our sideboard on Saturday, 1 July 2017. I then try to call her again on 1 July 2017, but no answer, I message her to tell her we will be there between 12:00 and 13:00pm. When we got there .... everything was closed .... the people working next door said they ran out of wood 2 days ago and no one has been back since. They had a big order that was fetched for JNB via a truck of all the stock they finished for them.</p> <p> </p> <p>Upset, I get the number of the owner renting out the space to Luanne and her husband. According to him they are also not getting hold of them... I ask him to send me the husband's number so i can take this matter futher, but still have not received any number or feedback, not sure if they are trying to cover for them. I waited 20min, but no one showed up, so I tried to call Luanne again, then I messaged her again asking for my money back. After numerous attempts trying to get hold of her and leaving messages on her phone, then her phone is off, then her phone is on. I finally got a mail from Luanne on 1 July 2017, where she's saying she's ill and they have too much work that they can't keep up with all the work and their wood running out all the time, so i just told her THEN YOU SHOULDN'T MAKE PROMISES IF THIS IS YOUR SITUATION. I asked her for my money back, but never received my money back. Today is 10 July 2017 and i still have not received my money or my sideboard as promised.</p> <p> </p> <p>Alte Mooi / Luanne Huysamen should not be in business, I hope this helps people before they attemp to pay her as you will not receive your stock. There is a reason why you see angry faces on their Facebook pictures, there is a reason you don't see the messages on these pictures asking for the products. People are allowing them to get away with this, she's sitting back and enyoing the life with all the money rolling in and all the orders they are receiving, but in the back ground they are so behind they will keep on lying to you and they don't care if you threaten them, cause they know you will not do anything to them.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will be taking action against them, unfortunately the amount is not that big, but i will take them to small claims court to get my money back. I will not allow people like this to take advantage of people.</p> <p> </p> <p>Alte Mooi/ Luanne Huysamen, I hope you take my advise I gave you not so long ago and catch up, before you take on more business as you are going to have a very bad name if you continue doing business this way.</p>
