Alpine parts and help non-existant!!!

For about a year I have asked for a part for my electric alpine chair. The tech in the East London area has made numerous promises to get the part. He has even given me alpine factorys number. The representative there just bluntly says they can't help. How do people get parts for alpine chairs if they refuse to help!!!
