Disappointing weekend stay at Alpine Heath Resort

Alpine Heath is recorded as a 4 star resort, but apart from the scenery there is nothing else that would validate this. We booked in for the weekend and I am so glad we didn't book for a longer period. The chalets are very old and outdated, they need a serious revamp. It's also rather dirty and not cleaned properly with dead insects on the walls and dirt on the carpets. I was extremely disappointed. Even the service was terrible and staff are not friendly at all. T he breakfast was very sad and disappointing too. Very limited options and not tasty at all. Even though we paid for breakfast with our booking, we didn't even eat anything on the second day and just ordered coffee and toast. This scenery is absolutely amazing but the resort has some major work to do.
