AVOID Alpha Plumbing at all costs

<p>We recently detected a serious leak in our house due to a burst pipe. As a result of this leak, our water bill was four times the normal amount. We called a leak specialist in who assessed that the leak was under the house and could not be repaired in the normal way and we needed to re-route all the piping going into the house.</p> <p>Needless to say this is a massive expense and we are investigating having our insurers assist us. In order to do that we needed a quote. A request call was made on Friday the 9th of June asking for a team from Alpha Plumbing to come to the house to prepare a competitive quote to one we had already received.</p> <p>A follow up call was made later that day to confirm that Alpha would send a team (importantly NOT a leak detection team as that process had already been completed) on Monday to confirm an arrival time. No call was received on the Monday (12th June). A follow up call was made on the 13th and an agreement was made whereby Alpha would arrive on the 14th. The team arrived late in the afternoon on the 14th while I was at a medical appointment and did not stay for my return. Following up with Alpha it was agreed they would come again on the 15th.</p> <p>Follow up calls on the 15th led to a heated disagreement over what was discussed and agreed to the point where Alpha have refused to assist in any capacity whatsoever. My leak remains unresolved.</p> <p>Their Operations Manager, Natasha, was rude, argumentative, unsympathetic and unhelpful. I cannot recommend you avoid their service any more strongly.</p>
