Alpha Electronics online store are ********!

At first, this company seemed legit and I had no doubts about making a purchase from their online store, but now I regret doing business with them completely. There is so much that went wrong with the service that if I were to type it all, I would probably run out of space so the below is a summarized version. 1. After making an online purchase and paying for delivery, there was no indication that I will need to make an additional payment of R3000 for delivery insurance and customs else my goods will not be delivered. I received a random email on the day of delivery stating that I need to make payment via ewallet else I will not receive my goods. This is days after I actually made the purchase. 2. As mentioned before, my goods were not delivered due to an unforseen happening which was explained to me. I was asked if I would like a refund or a replacement item delivered. I said I preferred a refund. They said it would take 7 working days. I placed the order on the 12 December 2018 and it is now the 4 January 2019. I have never received my refund, no good delivered, false promises, no follow up calls as promised, they do not reply to emails, sms's, or answer my phone calls. I paid R9949 in total to these people and the item I bought was for my December holiday. It really messed up my leave and the fact that I need to run after my own hard earned cash and they don't even have the decency to keep me informed at all, is extremely pathetic. Worst service from any company I have ever dealt with. I will not stop untill I resolve this. It feels as if I was ******. I have given Alpha Electronics so much time and I have been respectful, but unfortunately, this has small claims court written all over it. The person that made all the false promises name is Steven, but for the mere fact that he is finding it okay to do so, shows me the ethics of the company. DONT do business with these people ever! Unless you want to lose money and get nothing in return. I will share my story with as many people as possible. Online shopping is fast becoming the new normal, and companies like this will not last very long if their online experience is as hopeless as this. (If anything changes, I will add it to this review.)
