Poor Workmanship
**Subject: Complaint Regarding Alpha Dam Lichtenburg** With this letter, I would like to express my disappointment with Alpha Dam Lichtenburg. The first swimming pool they installed for me was beautiful. I was very satisfied, and their workmanship was neat and professional. However, in October 2024, I experienced a problem with the pool liner. They undertook to replace it, but I had to wait almost a year before the replacement was done. Unfortunately, the replacement was the poorest workmanship I have ever seen. The liner was installed very badly. They told me that once the pool was filled, the water would press the liner flat, but that never happened. On 28 October 2025, Essential Pools (Kobus) contacted them and informed them that the liner had been installed incorrectly and could not be smoothed out. The liner is full of bubbles. Our swimming pool has now started leaking. The *****s are badly rusted, and the pipe has rusted through. I am extremely disappointed with Alpha Dam Lichtenburg and cannot recommend their services to anyone. Please find the attached photographs as evidence. Kind regards, Heila Viljoen
