Dishonest

Pieter from ALP Movers contact me as i was looking for a removal company to transport my mother's furniture from Roodepoort to Cape Town on the 18th of November 2015. I accepted this company's quote and paid a deposit of R2400.00 into their account. The move was scheduled for the 18th of December 2015 and the balance was due to be paid on the day of the move. The morning of the 18th of December 2015 i was advised by Pieter that the truck will only arrive at 12h00 instead of 09h00 as was arranged. By 15h00 no truck has arrived and I had to keep on calling their offices to find out what the delay is. Pieter then gave me Craig's number who then advised me that the truck is being serviced. By 20h00 that evening and numerous telephone calls from me to this company the move was cancelled. Every time we contact them for the refund of our deposit empty promises are being made and/or the telephone conversation disconnected. All i want is the refund of my deposit as they never delivered a service and never phoned back with an alternative solution. Now they withholding my deposit for a job never completed.
