Unpaid claims and changing of the contract

All life is messing with people's lives and change cover without notification or consent.

On the 12/12/2016 I lost my mother, we had a policy for her via All life. According to the policy document that I had she was covered for natural courses but today they tell me hogwash saying that she was covered for accidental death which is hog wash because that's not what the document says. I did my 1st claim with them in Jan 2017 and they said they didn't receive any documents from me, I sent all the required documents via email and fax, the person I dealt with was Nonkululeko who subsequently left the company. Later in the year my sister resent the documents and they still claimed to have not received the document. And on the 10th of August I started another claim with Samantha and Nkensani, I re-submitted all the documents and received an email that says they have received the documents, these documents were sent to them directly as well as to the claims email address, I called two weeks later only for Samantha to tell me that she did not receive the documents which I had to resend again. Every time I did a follow up she would confuse me for someone else (which sets alarms to me), eventually she said she received all the documents. Fast forward to 10weeks later I am told that my claim was declined, claiming that they notified her that they needed her epilepsy report, even though as per their frequency they would call her regarding the rest of her medical history which was satisfactory to them and they continued with the policy. Now come claim time they refuse to pay on merits that don't exist. My mother died of liver and kidney failure due to her medication which not in anyway related to her epilepsy. Secondly they cannot prove that they did actually communicate with her regarding the epilepsy report, in as much they were satisfied with her medicals that she sent to them regarding her other conditions. Thirdly, there seems to be communication issues with All Life as a company because I have spent the last 11 months with this claim and the only reason for this is that they always claim to have not received any documents from me, which fortunately on my case I've been sending them via email and I also CC my other email address.

This company ****s people off their premiums. My case looks very similar to all the other cases that were declined and going forward I will be meeting with an attorney on Monday morning from on of the largest law firms in the country. I will also create awareness to consumers out there regarding this issue. I have 4500 friends on Facebook, therefore I will actually write a whole report about this and ask them to share with their contacts, I will tweet about this every single day and actually start a blog and a website to expose this **** by All Life. All life is a big fat **** that ****s poor black people of their last cent

Good day Arnold, thanks for contacting us regarding your claim outcome. AllLife takes this matter very seriously and we’re willing to engage with you further in this regard.

Our claims department has already communicated the final outcome after careful investigation of all the facts regarding the life insured. Due to confidentiality, we are unable to give you a detailed response on a public platform.

During underwriting the life insured disclosed matters that led to the cover being limited to accidental death benefit only. AllLife posted a letter to the Insured dated 21/06/2016 and advised of the steps to take in order to have full death benefit reinstated.

Claim documents indicated that the Insured passed away due to natural causes, hence the claim was declined. A letter was sent to claimant (official beneficiary) and we also communicated the outcome of the claim to the claimant by telephone.

Trust the above is in order, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information Email: ***

Regards,

AllLife
