Unjust and unconstitutionally discriminative 36 months waiting period
In 2023 i have taken out a life cover with All life and this was not the first time however my previous one lapsed due to job unstability so so due to my chronic condition i went beck to Alllife for a new cover. This time around it was different i was told that ill be on a waiting period of 36 months even though the reasons were not satisfactory but i told its a standard practice and i oblige due to the need of a cover. It was last year when i recommended them to two friend whom who's medical conditions i was aware of in terms of Cd4 numbers, previous hospitalization and so forth and i was shocked that they were not offered a waiting period they were covered Immidiately and covered with higher covers but lower premiums even though the age we about the same upon them taking policy. After a long research and it has come to my attention that it is not ligal to have a 3 years waiting period on a basic cover and this is a definition of ************** especially comings from a company that boost its reputation for being for the people with HIV. I am now deciding that i will actually contact the insurance ombudsman today to address this and alsoni am considering to take this unjust that has i have been subjected to, to the courts and media. I am disappointed that i was being taken for a ride for the past two years.
