Unauthorised cancellation

On 08 August 2015 I have provided all details including Medical records towards a Life policy of R2Million. The sales lady informed me that the underwriting process would take up to 3 months to complete. I was asked whether I would be interested in an accidental cover should I not be permitted to the Life cover. On 07 September 2015 I received an official letter signed by MD Mr. Ross Beerman that I was accepted and that the underwriting process must be completed by 06 December 2015. On 07 September 2015 the first premium of R2790 was deducted and continued every month thereafter.

On 03 May 2016 I receved a letter from Mr. Ma***oane to inform that I am now a medical risk and that my policy will be cancelled without a medical examination, nor will they be able to provide me with the Doctor's information from which the information has been obtained.

My policy was changed from R 2Million to R 370 000.00 however my premium was now R2660.00 (R130 less per month).

Several communications/requests has been sent to Ms. Emsme Vermeulen however Ms. Vermeulen is no longer responding to requests/communication. Ms. Vermeulen stated that All Life refuse to repay premiums.

Will the same principle apply when a client fall ill after 4 or even 10 years of being a member at All Life? Will that member be left out cold with his policy suddenly changing due to being a medical risk?

To my knowledge there is no clause that provides for an underwriting decision that to be reconsidered or altered after it has been confirmed with the client as and when required by All Life. If so shouldnt the information obtained by All Life be validated or proven?

R2790 per month, 8 months later, makes a huge financial difference in other's lives (R22 320.00)

I would like to receive my premiums back in order to invest in a trusted company.
