Rejection of claim

I had an insurance with AllLife for my mother and unfortunately she passed away this year. When I called to claim they asked for documents which I submitted and did not even get a call to say they got them. After 6-8 weeks I was told my claim was being rejected because she was on the accidental plan. Which apparently was because she did not submit her blood tests. They say they were unable to get hold of her but they still have my contact details where by I could have been contacted and told about all of this. As much as they asked for her clinic file I feel they can see from that of how she handled herself. What also bothers is why have such a clause in an HIV policy? Why does it not lapse if they do not comply with It? Why send a letter telling us only about the premiums going up and not mentioning on the same letter that it changed to accidental plan? I am very disappointed in the way they dealt with all of this. My brother is still young and still needs to be taken care of. It is not easy to be fighting while we had put so much faith in the company. On top of all o this was told to send a letter to review my rejection but even today I haven't received any communication to what is going on. When I call im being told they will call back and the numbers that were given on the letters do not go through. Please assist
