Alllife debited unapproved policy

A consultant from AllLife called me regarding a life cover, I was interested to take the policy but I informed him that I will confirm with them when I am financially ready to pay the policy, he insisted that I give him my banking details still and he will only process the policy when I am ready, that was in December, to my surprise this month (March) money was debited in my account. I called the company but was taken from pillar to post when I demand that I be refunded.
