WARNING: Stay away from this place

Poor Workmanship and an Aggressive Attitude.

I was disgusted by my experience with Allans Panel Shop, 233 Greyling St, Pietermaritzburg.

My vehicle was taken in under a scratch and dent policy the damage appeared to be minor and the assessor promised it would be a quick easy repair. Three days later the vehicle was dropped off as agreed however the Bullbar had been pulled totally skew and the bumper clips were still broken and the whole bumper was sticking out about an inch (only the tiny "dent" itself had been fixed). I told the driver I was not satisfied with the repair and would not sign off the insurance forms, he completely understood and promised to sort out the problems asap. A few days later I returned the vehicle to the Panel Shop and was greeted by the owner, he had a look and explained that the problem was with the scratch and dent policy as they would not replace the whole bumper. I told him I understood however the assessors should have explained that as I have a comprehensive insurance that would have covered the job properly instead of now being left with an ugly 1/2 job. He kindly agreed to "help" by gluing the bumper together where the clips had broken and straighten the bullbar so visually it didnt look so bad. About 3 hours later I returned to fetch the vehicle but to my disappointment the bumper had been glued totally skew (as per the picture below) and the bullbar was also still skew. I asked to speak to Allan but he had unfortunately left the shop so reception called another manager. Instantly this man had a negative and aggressive attitude which soon turned into a shouting argument. I was basically told that it is my problem if I dont like their workmanship, he only does what insurance pays him for and he doesnt care if Im not happy with it. He even told me to go ahead and lay a complaint with the insurance company and write a public review because he doesnt give a sh*t. (So here you go, you get what you deserve)

People should know how customers are treated at this place and rather take their business where it is deserved.
