A Company that does not care
In my experience with this company, they do not really care, except for money of course. I have certain funds stuck with them for circumstances out of my control. Those funds do not appear to be even earning compound interest in the last few years as the reported growth seems very little. There is an apparently legal issue with withdrawing or transferring the funds to a different company, and in more than a year, perhaps two, I have not heard from them, as this does not affect them. Instead of they finding a solution or requesting a meeting to discuss the facts and laws involved, they asked me, as an individual, to essentially find my own legal solution. I have been too busy to do so, but in the meantime I think at least I should use any public channel like HelloPeter and social media to have some additional information about this company before engaging with them.

He is no doubt an asset to Allan Gray, who is able to find the correct balance between representing the interests of the company and yet show empathy towards an unhappy client. So, my comment here to acknowledge that the company did care to solve this issue after all, is as much to highlight his excellent work.
