What disappointing service

<p>I was quoted a very reasonable price for my daughter's 5 year old birthday party cake from Alla Vita Home Industries in Edenvale. Once I placed the order, I was expecting an invoice to pay a deposit as well as delivery address of where I could come to collect the cake. None of this was received, which I already thought was strange. On the Thursday before the party, Marcelle messaged me to say that I need to collect the cake from a coffee shop (meaning they have no physical work address) on the saturday morning. On the saturday of the event when I already had a lot of running around to do, I waited at said coffee shop for an hour. I tried calling Marcelle on numerous occasions and left messages as her phone was conveniently switched off. Eventually, I realised she was not going to pitch. I promised my daughter a bunny cake, had 30 guests and no cake. I had to make a rush plan, which in the end worked out but with no thanks to (or apology from) Marcelle at Alla Vita. On Monday, I received a silly email saying (without an apology) that the cake was dropped off by a friend of hers nonetheless. Who collected the cake is none of my business, and I am sure no stranger would've paid for a cake they did not order. I simple admission of poor service would've been better received. Do not be duped as I was. They are not a professional home industries and the service they provide is shocking. </p> <p> </p> <p>Please do not support this company ever. You will be disappointed if the owner does not feel like assisting you. </p>
