Brilliant customer service.

I had a bid of a bad experience with a GEL battery and was urgently in need of a new battery. The battery in mind was sold out at most "reputable" dealers and then by chance I saw on Google a business called All Things Solar that had the battery I was looking for in stock. Well as I reside about 400km away I contacted them and within twenty minutes I was contacted by Thys the owner.

With the patience of a priest at confession Thys listened to my story and what I needs are. After my whole story he then with the patience of a ****her to a young child started asking questions about my equipment that I have to see if it will be compatible with this specific battery. During our conversation we came to the conclusion that the battery will work but he recommended that I need to do just one test before ordering as he suspected that I might have an "older" type inverter as I cannot adjust any settings on it except for my loose separate SCC that can have parameter changes programmed, should it be the case then there is the possibility that I might not get the service life from the battery as expected and that he can then recommend an alternative Lithium battery for me. I did the test and low and behold my inverter is one of the older types. I again spoke to Thys the next day and he recommended the alternative battery.

Battery was ordered and installed two days later, charged and it works like a dream for our requirements. Thys was kept updated as to the battery performance and always available to listen and give advice should there be a question to tweak a bit for the ultimate performance and life of the battery. Second battery installed yesterday for a buffer in case of longer hours of Eskom’s national sport and already convinced my better half to upgrade our system a bit with the help of All Tings Solar.

All Things Solar and especially Thys with his patience in knowledge as well as not to just sell a product to a customer to make money, has made a client for life out of us.
