Worst service in Pretoria

They quoted me in the region of R8500 for a new gearbox for my Chevy, I then decided that I would let them fit the gearbox as well, That is when the fun started, they had all kinds of excuses, eventually after paying just under R11 000-00, I went to fetch the car. I had to tow the car home, they had forced the gearbox in scew, and so doing damaged the s***ot bearing. I had to tow the car to a real mechanic, who charged me R3500-00, but at least got it fixed. I went to consumer protection agency, they refered me to the ombitsman, but the case died a slow death, I get no responce from them at all, really looks as if the consumer has no rights what so ever.
