I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to inform you about a distressing incident involving the transportation of my beloved pet through All Pet Transport.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, I entrusted my pet's journey from Cape Town to Johannesburg to All Pet Transport. Unfortunately, the experience has been devastating. The route, from Cape Town to East London to the Free State and finally to Johannesburg, was not disclosed to me until my pet was already en route. I had initially anticipated an overnight trip from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

On the evening of Friday, January 26, 2024, I received a distressing call from the driver at 9 pm, informing me that my pet was unwell and urgently needed veterinary attention. Subsequent to this call, I obtained a full report from the vet that detailed alarming health conditions upon his arrival.

Upon reaching the vet, my pet was hypoglycemia, with sugar levels at 1, a temperature of 40 degrees, and blood coming out of his nose. The vet identified severe heat stroke due to inadequate ventilation during transport, leading to a coma. Although the veterinary team managed to stabilize him temporarily, further tests revealed irreversible liver and kidney failure, all of which have been attributed to negligence on the part of All Pet Transport.
