No resolution on Mechanical fault

In December 2016 we purchase a 320i E90 BMW second hand from the dealer. Within a few days of taking delivery, we noticed that there was an issue with gear changing ratios as well as issues reversing. (Automatic Transmission). The car has been back and forth 5 times, the last time it was with them for over a week. They kept sending it from one mechanic to the next, but still nothing fixed. Today was the last straw. I've emailed the dealer twice now for feedback, and I haven't heard a word. Yes I can call, but I want everything on black and white, which is why I insist on email correspondence.

I am now at a point where I want to go to the Ombudsman, ABSA (who financed the vehicle) and the CPA to insist that my trade-in deposit is refunded, and the deal is cancelled. They are leaving me with NO alternative.

We have insisted that they take it to BMW to have a look, but they simply seem to try and cut corners, which is not fixing the problem.

I am at the end of my rope now.
