Please DO NOT Use this company Alive Solar & Electrical (PTY) LTD – NO After Installation Service

They will take your money, do the installation, and then give you the run-around if you have an issue with the system, or heaven forbid a faulty component.

The Sales process and Installation went very well, but just after 2 months in, we had a Battery unit go faulty, so the system was not operational. That took 2 weeks to get resolved, and now a month later, I still am having issues with the system that needs to be resolved, and I cannot get them to resolve it. Shaun will give you story after story, and various reasons why he can’t get to you, that is when you can eventually get them to take a call.

No Communication from their side again – they do not answer my calls, even cancel calls, and after threatening to go to Social Media, and giving them a deadline to respond to, Only then did I get a Whatsapp message and voice note from Willem that he would resolve it personally within a few days, but again nothing has transpired, and we are now 2 weeks later. Willem also seems to refuse to supply any written documentation on Warranty, or guarantees for the systems. Alive Solar appear to be doing whatever they can not to provide the after sales service and support.

I am also still waiting for a COC, this is now 3 Months after the installation . . .

So from this experience, I would just want to warn you, although a good system, please be careful about using Alive Solar due to the lack of communication, feedback and generally NO after Sales Service. The company, although Shaun tells you is bigger and has a few teams, appears to only really be Shaun and Willem, with a few guys to help with the installations.

Your website says 100% Customer Satisfaction, maybe that should change now, as this is NOT a Satisfied Customer at all, and with service like this to me, I am sure that there will be many others that have had the same experience, and that feel like I do.
