Alitalia lost baggage

if they loose your bag, which seems to be often if you look on trip advisor or search 'alitalia lost baggage' you have zero chance of getting any compensation from them. The complaints / lost baggage site and emails to lodge your complaint never get answered. I have tried relentlessly for 3 months now and nothing. I cant even get a reply, positive or negative. Shocking.
