Item purchased, not delivered, Aliexpress refusing to refund N

I purchased an item on 26 June 2025, with expected delivery date of 22 July 2025. It is 12 September 2025 and it is still not delivered. I put in a refund request on my order *** and they are asking me to contact the post office… how is it my job to o contact whoever they contract to do deliveries ? They are the ones that know who does the shipping. I just want my money back but their system is not allowing me to get this . What else is a person suppose to do ?
