Alfa Loans *****

This company is a *****. My credit record is bad so I was having difficulty getting a loan. These people sent an sms stating that there is no credit check required. I looked on Hello Peter for any strange comments but did not see any. I also researched their NCP No and that looked fine as well. So I put in a request for R250 000 which they confirmed. They said that, to allow the loan to be approved, I must pay in R3999 for a "Loan Administration Fee", for legal documentation to completed by their legal department. This did make sense to me to pay, as it was a legitimate request. I paid them on 24/06/2022, a direct payment. Then on the 25th, they came back requesting more money, stating this additional request for money is for "Low Credit Clearance". That is then I realized it was a **** and did not pay anymore money to them. I contacted my bank, which is Discovery and they opened a ***** case. They liaised with Capitec which is the Alfa Loans bank but unfortunately the people had taken out the money. I see that there is no record of this company on Hello Peter, so I am creating one now. Here are the details relating to the people I was dealing with:

NAMES;H.Mamabolo ACCOUNT NO ; *** CAPITEC BANK NCR No: NCRCP2516 *** As you can see, the name on the account is different to the name on the loan agreement document. The name on the loan document is Walter Harrison. I did not review this document correctly. Unfortunately, after the banks investigation, they said that the money had been withdrawn from the account, so they were not able to reimburse my R3999.
