Alexander Grobler took money and never delivered

I paid Alexander Grobler of 'What I am Good At' Carpenters/ Woodworkers and Shop Fitters in Langebaan a deposit for him to custom make cheeseboards for my wedding at the beginning of March 2015. After paying him a deposit and being in contact with him since December 2014, I told him that I needed the boards by mid February before the wedding. He assured me, on a daily basis, that he was making them and then that he had made them and he even sent me a photograph (as I am in Johannesburg) of more than one board. I said to him that he should send them asap and send me proof by sending me a copy of the waybill or couriers delivery note and then I would pay him the balance. After calling him every day and emailing him up to two weeks before the wedding to ask him for the boards not once could he be honest and say that he hadn't made more than 5. I really hope that whoever has the misfortune of dealing with Alexander Grobler of Langebaan does not get ******** by him like I did. When I contacted him for the return of my deposit he just refused to answer his phone or emails.
