Withdrawal of fund

I was retrenched at beginning of this year and was not aware that I had a fund with Alexander Forbes. It is only within the last two weeks that I have found out about this fund. My previous employer had placed me in contact with Shea Blaauw *** who seemed to be helpful from when she was dealing initially with my former employer, but up until now my request for information regarding my fund seems like its being ignored.

Is this how Alexander Forbes treats their clients? What about pensioners going into retirement? It seems as if the above person is quick to respond to a company request but delay the process to gain funds from the retirement benefit. So far my fund has decreased as a result of the slow moving process .
