Until when should we wait? Please help us!
This relates to the matter of payment by Alexander Forbes to the beneficiaries of my late husband, H. Nhlengethwa, who passed away last year on the 14th of December, 2013.

In dealing with the Provident Fund issue I must say that I have been moving up and down since from January last year, and recently, after many follow-ups, I was surprised when I was told by Alexander Forbes to submit other documents yet I have been engaging them for such a long time.

What surprises me mostly is that we were told that we might, again, wait for more than 6 months and even up to 2 years in order to get the fund.

My main problem is that I am staying and supporting my 4 children and one grandchild, and I am struggling, financially, because I had to take all the UIF money and pay tuition fee for my son who is doing a first-year study at Oval College. And now I have to pay the outstanding balance of R12, 000-00 so that he may get his results and also be able to continue with his study.

We reported the matter to the Office of the State Presidency and Alexander Forbes made a commitment that they will process the payment in February, this year, but they didn't.

(Supplier name changed from Alexander Forbes Insurance to Alexander Forbes Financial Services by Hellopeter.com)
