Unresponsive Customer Service & Delayed Pension Withdrawal

I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Alexander Forbes. I resigned from my previous employer on 31/12/2024, and I was informed that the withdrawal process takes six weeks. As of 07/02/2025 (five weeks in), I have yet to receive any further updates despite multiple follow-ups via email.

I initially received a response on 13/01/2025, stating that my withdrawal notification form had not been received and that Alexander Forbes would engage with my employer. However, after this, communication has been inconsistent and unhelpful. I followed up on 15/01/2025 and was told to expect an update by 24/01/2025, but I have received no further communication despite requesting updates three times.

This delay is completely unacceptable. Customers rely on these payouts for their financial well-being, and being left in the dark is frustrating. The lack of urgency and transparency in resolving my query has been highly disappointing. I expect an immediate response with a clear update on the progress of my claim.

I urge Alexander Forbes to improve their customer service and response times, as this level of service is far below acceptable standards.
