unpaid Pension fund claim

My husband passed on October 2017, lodged a claim for pension benefits. August 2018 got a call from a consultant saying she was finalizing the report for allocation of funds.

never heard from them since then, decided to contact the company HR at RCL foods who did not have a clue what is happening to claim but to promised to get back to me.

she contacted me on the 20th to tell me Alexander Forbes has closed the claim and paid beneficiaries and she gave me a number to call, which i did and the consultant who paid the beneficiaries said she has never seen my name as we continued to engage she went through the file and told me she has found my claim and said there i am working and was not financially dependent on my husband because he had moved out 3 yrs earlier and there was a restrain order on my name. i asked her what restraining she said she does not know, she then said her senior will give me a call because i requested an appointment with the pension fund adjudicator, i think i deserve a full report of their decision and total amount and how it was distributed.
