Suspicious *****

I left my employer at the end of February 2025, withdrawal claims were submitted by our office with the turnaround times of 4-6 weeks, on the 12 April 2025 I got an email confirming that savings pot component claim was paid on the 7 April 2025 and it takes 24-48 hours for the money to reflect in my account, till this day l still have not received any payment and when I called them on the 17 April 2025 requesting proof of payment they were reluctant to give it to me and they promised to send it to my previous employer, they need to give me the POP because they have my banking details, how is it that money was paid but l have not received it, or else we will have to take this further, I suspect (*****) that something happened within their offices.
