surplus pension claim mining industry

In feb 2015 I saw a notice in the citizen news paper informing us that we ( as old employees) were entitled to a portion of the mines surplus pension fund and to contact alexander forbes with all the relevant details. As it was over 30 years ago since I was employed on the mines all I had was my p f number wich I duly sent to alexander forbes. A Mr Adeel Saleh made contact with me to inform me that he has sent all my documentation to the relevant departments. I then received a e e mail from. K Singh informing me that no record of a claim could be found. Now I would like to know is what happend to my claim
