Still waiting for pension fund after a year of liquidation of the fund
<p>As described in my previous review, I left my company and the pension fund that I joined with Alexander forbes had been liquidated by the company. I requested that the funds be paid out. Almost a year and a half later of leaving my company I'm still waiting for payout. I called the fund manager on May 04th 2017 and she explained that she had not been given the go ahead to payout.</p> <p>I called her again on the 12th of May 2017 and she said that they are in the final stages of payout and approval will be given. I called her again to 13th of June 2017 and she said it's been handed to their legal department due to issues with my status. Talking to these administrators they make you feel that it's not your money that your are enquiring about and it's an issue to find out why they are taking this long. I'm in the process of handing over to my attorneys and I would like to know why out of 180 people my funds haven't been processed as yet as I left the company over a year and a half ago. Alexander forbes is a ******* and I will never ever encourage anyone to ever invest their money with this company. Your money is honestly safer "under your mattress". </p>

I'm still unhappy about your feedback as I want this escalated and my money paid out as soon as possible. You have had a year and half and I'm still waiting for your long procedures. Why am I having to call you every week instead of you informing me where in the process this is. Incredibly unprofessional company and I can understand now why my company liquidated this fund in the first place. You guys weren't competent enough.
