Still no assistance from alexander forbes after years of trying
i am writing this review for the second time because I have still not received any assistance from Alexander Forbes regarding a long-standing issue.
My father passed away in 2003, and since then, all of my siblings have been receiving their monthly claim payments without any problems. However, I have not received a single payment, despite numerous attempts over the years to follow up and resolve this matter.
I have called, emailed, and submitted the required documents multiple times. Each time I was either promised a follow-up or redirected without a clear explanation. No one has taken responsibility for assisting me properly.
It is extremely frustrating and disheartening to be ignored for so long, especially when this is a matter of family benefits that I am rightfully entitled to. I am pleading once again for someone at Alexander Forbes to take this seriously and assist me in resolving this matter urgently.

- In 2016, I visited your offices with my mother and dealt with consultant Mpho Mkha****, who gave us assurances that the claim was being processed. I submitted all required documents including my school acceptance letters, account details, and academic reports.
- In 2017, I was contacted by Zahier Allie, who informed me that calculations were being finalized for a lump sum payment. Unfortunately, nothing materialized after that.
- In 2021, due to lack of follow-up, I returned and was assisted by Lebo Kosana, who again required documents, including a certificate of existence, which I submitted.
- At that point, I was informed I needed to contact Ms. T. Fono, my half-sister and also a beneficiary. I managed to reach her, but when she visited your offices, she was told there were no funds available. This was very confusing, as she had previously received monthly payments when your offices were still based at Martin West in Durban.
- In 2023, I returned again and was helped by Bongi Gina, who asked me to resubmit documents, including my unabridged birth certificate and a certificate of existence. Despite complying, I have not received any further communication or updates.
- Is my claim still active and valid?
- What is the current status of the funds due to me, and why have there been so many delays despite full compliance?
- What steps are being taken to ensure I receive my benefits?
- If there are no funds available, what happened to them and why was I not informed earlier?
