Provident funds runarounds

I departed with my employer in December and submitted alfll the documents for my provident fund claim early January. I have been doing follow ups as well as tracking my claim on their website but there seems to be no progress. When I saw that the tax documents had been received, I called enquire about when I should expect the pay out, and was told that it should take atleast 7-14 days. After that I called again and was told that it shouldn't take this long, and the agent I spoke to escalated the matter to their supervisor and I had to wait 24-48 hours. When I called again to enquire after that period, their system was doing. We then went on a weekend. Had to make another call only to be told there hasn't been any feedback from the supervisor and it was now escalated to a manager. Don't get me wrong, the agents are very friendly, however, I don't put friendliness on a plate to feed my family. It is very frustrating to be told by my former employees that left weeks after me that they have received their funds without doing any follow ups. What should one do to get assisted in this company. The runaround I've been given show incompetence, someone is clearly not doing their job. This really needs to be sorted out as it's been about 4 months now, and when I submitted the documents, an sms confirmed that the claim should be processed within 4weeks. How many 4 weeks should one wait???
