Provident fund recovery

I'm writing this with disappointment. Last year 22nd November I received a call from a lady called Betty Phangindaba as she introduced herself to me, stating she was calling from the AFRF Comprehensive Provident Fund.

I gave an ear and listened, i was on duty however I gave her time to explain why she called. She then asked if I had worked for a retail before I confirmed. And after confirming I was the correct person she told me that I have money from that employer which needs to be paid out. I said ok what's the process. She said she will send me forms which I have to fill and send back to her.

That was done and she confirmed that she has received them and that in 2 weeks I will receive an sms that was around 1st week of December.

9th December I sent an email to follow up and she said that the file is now handled by Alexander Forbes and that they will send me an sms once the claim has been finalized.

Remember she called me and i adhered to what she said i should do. I sent my ID copy, Bank statement , valid income tax number and the completed form which she sent me filled. 18 January I followed up no response February again i followed up. I need advice what do I do about this? #forbes
