Poor service from Alexander Forbes Insurance

I recently had some car paintwork done as part of a claim administered by Alexander Forbes Insurance (55 Plus Policy). In the past I have always had excellent service from Alexander Forbes . However, this time I am amazed by the non-existent service from the person I had dealt with, a PhumuIani Mkhefa. On Friday July 17 after receiving the car I sent Phumulani an email about a discrepancy in the amount paid to me and the quote of the repair centre. Subsequently I sent several more emails, and when I still got no response I eventually phoned head office and told them about the situation. They apologised and said they would follow it up. I subsequently saw copies of two emails requesting that I be telephoned about the issue. Nothing has transpired yet. I have been told that Alexander Forbes is migrating to Momentum Insurance, but it is no excuse for the person I dealt with to disappear off the radar. I think it is quite scandalous and it is giving the company a bad name. W Richter ID ***.
