I submitted a withdrawal claim for my unclaimed pension fund to Alexforbes on 11 February 2026.

On 17 February 2026, I received an email acknowledging receipt of my documents. After that, there was complete silence from Alexforbes.

On 23 March 2026, I called to follow up on my claim and was informed that the funds had not yet been approved for payment, and that a call had been logged for approval.

On 30 March 2026, I then received an email stating: "Kindly note that payment has been sent through for final checking to be authorized."

However, after hearing nothing further, I called again on 16 April 2026 and was informed that the payment had been rejected due to incorrect banking details. What is extremely frustrating is that I was never informed about this issue. The only reason I found out was because I personally called to follow up.

According to Alexforbes, the withdrawal process can take up to 60 days, yet because I was not notified about the banking issue, I now have to resubmit my banking details again today and potentially wait another 60 days for the process to start again.

This lack of communication is unacceptable. Clients should be notified immediately when there is an issue with their claim, especially when it affects payment timelines.

I would appreciate urgent assistance from Alexforbes to resolve this matter and process my withdrawal without further unnecessary delays.
