Pension Fund Sham.

I have been paying into AF Retirement Fund with the same company for 31 years and have a substantial fund and a death benefit of nearly R10M. All of a sudden after 31 years of monthly payments and statements after statement showing my benefit amount I received an email which states that I am only entitled to R3M unless I have a full medical. Why all of a sudden a change of conditions. Why a medical now after 31 years. So after 31 years I need a medical and they require my parents medical history. What is their intention??? Seems nefarious to me. So if my father had a heart attack and I have an ECG that is not 100% what do you think they will do. Reduce my benefit from R10M to R3M. Seems very shady that you can change the requirements after 31 years . This has not be done to the younger members so one must assumed that it is age related and what a fine and moral thing to do... reduce your risk at the last moment. Thank I haven't got a funeral policy with them as who knows they could change the terms before the burial. I joke of course but it's relative.
