Pension fund Horror

I received a letter asking me to apply for my late mom's unclaimed death benefits at the beginning of August. I've sent all the required documents but yesterday ( 30 Nov 2017)I was told by Vusumuzi Mabaso that the process was not explained correctly after he was the one who told me that the claim will be referred to SARS this week. Apparently the claim has to be approved first than sent to SARS for tax purposes. This was not explained that way initially. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the claim to be resolved but to date it has not be resolved. Please assist as its DEC already and I'm still it remains unresolved. It is extremely disappointing since I worked with Moisapula Modiga and she was very clear and helpful. I cannot understand what the delay is!!!
